Fees:


Our fees are based on a per Module basis, 1 day Module (7 hours) @ £90.00. These fees include the JAUPT/DSA ‘Upload fee).

 Payment is made on the training day.

 Attendance:

If you would like to attend this training, would you please e mail a copy of your driver’s licence (both parts) to us info@avtme.co.uk so that we can register you onto the National system. We will then confirm your attendance.

FULL 1 WEEK (5 DAY) COURSE PLANNED FOR WEEK OF:

 This will be held in Telford over the period Mon 11 Aug to Fri 15 Aug 14, covering ALL 5 Modules.

Fees:

 

Our fees are based on a per Module basis, 1 day Module (7 hours) @ £90.00.  If attending all 5 Modules a discount of £50.00 will be given, total for all 5 Modules is £400.00.  These fees include the JAUPT/DSA ‘Upload fee).

Driver CPC: training deadline reminder If you're a lorry driver with 'acquired rights' the deadline to finish your first round of Driver CPC periodic training is 10 September 2014. You risk being fined and even losing your livelihood if you don't finish your training in time. The Office of the Traffic Commissioner also reminds operators to be aware of their drivers' training hours and the 10 September 2014 deadline to avoid penalties. Driver CPC rules Driver CPC was introduced in 2009 for lorry drivers. New drivers had to start taking the Driver CPC initial qualification from then to start driving professionally. Existing drivers were given 'acquired rights' which took their previous experience into account. Training deadline To stay within the rules, all drivers must do 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years. The deadline for lorry drivers with 'acquired rights' is 10 September 2014.   Check your training record   You can find Driver CPC periodic training courses online. Not being aware will not be an excuse DVSA's Chief Executive Alastair Peoples said: "DVSA enforcement officers already routinely check the Driver CPC status of professional drivers. After the deadline they’ll be able to check whether ‘acquired rights’ lorry drivers have completed their training or are driving illegally. Not being aware of Driver CPC is not an excuse for drivers or operators". Joan Aitken, lead Traffic Commissioner on Driver CPC, added that operators; "could also find themselves before commissioners if there are issues around the circumstances in which a driver was working without the driver qualification card (DQC), or failed to produce it".
